From the desk of Sheriff Bryson Meyers: On January 1, 2026, around 0430 a.m. deputies with the Garrett County Sheriffโs Office responded to the 100 block of S. Oakhall Drive, Mountain Lake Park, for a check on well-being. Deputies determined that a female inside the residence was being held against her will, and deputies were able to get the female out of the residence to safety.

On January 13, 2026, deputies with the Garrett County Sheriffโs Office served a bench warrant on Amy Jolene Kisselovich, 49 years old, Oakland. The warrant was issued by the Garrett County District Court for Failure to Appear. Kisselovich was located and taken into custody without incident during a traffic stop. Kisselovich was transported to the District Court Commissioners Office, where she was released on her own recognizance.
